5 speed gearbox SS & R33 comparison

How does the 5 speed gearbox in the R33 compare to say an SS commodore 5 speed manual? What about the clutch?

I have not driven my car yet as it is on its way from Japan, but drove an SS the other day and found the gear change and clutch to be to coarse and heavy for my liking. I hope the R33 is smoother.

seem to be pretty smoothe. is the box standard in the 33 that you're importing?
