Hey All,

I have a question regarding my series 1 r33 Gtst. At the moment It is running a factory ecu with stock injectors (both which I plan to upgrade within the month)
The car is fitted with a HKS GTRS turbo and alot of other HKS gear. When it had a haltech ecu and HKS 740 cc injectors the car was pushing out about 270kw on a safe 13psi.

However now that the ECU and injectors have been removed, the boost has been cutting at about 5000 - 6000 revs.
Now my question is, I want to take my car out to the track next weekend and really give it a good drive. Would I be putting the engine at a big risk??
Sorry if this seems like a silly question, im a bit of an amateur but trying to learn!

Thanks!

What do you mean by "the boost had been cutting"? If you mean the ecu has been cutting power, then simply wind the boost down a bit more and it should stop doing it.

Other than that, it should be fine to take to the track. The stock ecu has a safer tune than an aftermarket ecu
