So, This is currently on (my guess is) deck 9 of the Morning Miracle, on it's way to Port Melbourne... for me!

post-51760-0-98563100-1373715065_thumb.jpg

I'm not a workshop guy, so I need help here.

A few things....

1: I need a workshop in Melbourne that won't charge me the earth to maintain it, but will do a great job, especially the first checkup.. it's just a daily.

2: it has lowered springs... do they seem too low to you? will that hurt it over time?

3: THOSE WHEELS!!!!
Anyone in the market for some REAL Venerdi 19" Chrome 5's .. :P (currently fitted with 245/40x19's

I am looking into replacement wheels, not sure about fit etc though. 19x9.5 ... just want them to fit.. not really into the whole "stance" thing...

4: The Works Bell paddle mod.. it seems easy enough.. is it reliable etc? this is the first car I have ever risked going auto for!

5: maybe that's enough for now!

That's a sweet ride you've got there! I'd be careful going up steep driveways as it looks as low as mine.As for workshops.......f**k that,i wouldn't let any of those monkeys even peer through my windows let alone look under the bonnet.Get onto Scotty he is the man when it comes to these things and is always willing to help a brother out.Good luck on the wheels!

As mentioned by Gleeson, get in contact with "Scotty M35". Mechanics in Vic don't even know what these cars are, they're not technologically advanced or should we say bout 10 years behind the rest of the world.

    • My steering lock unit on my Infiniti G37 has failed. The car is a local 2012 Infiniti G37 (Q60 ) I need to replace the unit My local mechanic said i need to buy a complete steering wheel assembly. Does anybody no any mechanics in Gold Coast or Brisbane who can fix this issue or where i can buy just the Steering lock control unit. Thanks
    • thanks, will conduct myself accordingly. i unfortunately put about 150 miles on the car before reading this thread again, however no PS issues, and definitely no turbo issues. it spools normally and still feels fast to me, probably because my previous car was an N/A auto sedan...gonna go fix the PS vacuum line though lol. safe to say, got what i came to this thread for. thanks
    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
