Is it cheaper to send my current stock R34 turbo to Stao to highflow rather then buying one of theirs that's already highflowed?

Highflowing your current turbo would cost like...$900 - 1000 including a 15psi wastegate actuator

You could buy a second hand highflowed op6 for a bit cheaper than that, but obviously it wouldn't be brand new internals

its slightly cheaper than 900, i think 1k+ for him to fit it too.

I'd probably do the labour myself... But not sure if I trust a 2nd hand turbo.... But it would be cheaper if I can pick one up for say 900, then sell my stock for 300-400 lol.

I guess that's a positive of highflowing it... you can buy one with damaged fins for cheap as chips, as long as the housing is fine and doesn't have any cracks in it
