Cadmoon
It's pretty simple. I don't feel ready. If I don't feel ready it's because I'm not ready. I want to build my confidence slowly and safely. Not jeopardise everything in one hit because being pushed into something I am not ready for. I can't be anymore clearer than that and will not be participating to this track day in June. I will however be happy to spectate to see how it all unfolds Give me time guys that is all Fair enough Ants, happy laps first then? Cadmoon
Need to start thinking about a new turbo and not sure which route to take, thinking highflow or a bolt on. I want something that can make about 250 kw and decent response, anyone have any suggestions? sneakey pete
BW efr 7163, internal waste gate on a T3 flange should bolt into stock position maybe? Good for a little more than 250 though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/817/#findComment-7266732 Share on other sites

They seem to spool up damn fast and will easily make 250+kw Having said that I prefer bolt in applications Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/817/#findComment-7266738 Share on other sites

t5iv
Yeah I'm after something bolt on. From memory, a 6266 is the ideal size for use and power. Spools relatively quickly and has decent power. sneakey pete
6266's are 500+hp turbos though Tony. They spool quick... For their size. But it wouldn't be good to be making only 350hp with it. Not to mention it doesn't come on a t3 flange, so you'd need a new manifold. Personally Id look at a 3071. have a look at those precision turbos Mike. No doubt they make a good charger for the goal i just havent seen results for them Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431233-mugabetown-whoretownin-at-its-worst/page/817/#findComment-7266769 Share on other sites

I want something that can make about 250 kw and decent response, anyone have any suggestions? Grab a r34 turbo and get it highflowed at CGC, MTQ or hypergear. I had a friend that made a lazy 270rwkw and it still looked stock. Pretty inexpensive too. Yes I was. :-D would be fun to see the silver broad minded person actually turn her wheels. :-P Realistically for that power though, buying a high flowed turbo is probably your best bet. Cost is kept down and life is good.
