Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

Sounds like a good idea. I am not privy to this motor vehicle you are assembling. All i know is it has a Crank trigger setup [Which im learning more about and jealous of lol] and now e85 with a good fuel setup. Sounds like a cool machine in the making

Its not going to be anything too special, the crank trigger is really just about reliability, after nearly 10 years of cars 'going out of tune' i just want a car that I can turn the key and kick it in the guts HARD every time with out fear of frigging knock lights ruining the fun! At he moment I am capped to running only 14psi with little to no timing, it made 306rwkw then so I am keen to see what the set up is actually capable of with a stable timing signal.

And if I dont like that I will build the RB28 I have wanted for the last 6 or 7 years!

yeah Bunts car should kick some serious bogan V8 ass once she's all done :P

Ha ha I doubt I will cross paths too often with any rigs matching that description, happy laps grand prix is not really my scene!

Is those figures on pump 98? I made another 100hp when i switched to e85 and only added like 3 psi

Strippers FTMFW... Especially Lesbo shows.

This is true

Yeah that was on 98. I think the physical flow of my turbos will be the limiting factor, they are only babies so I think they will be incapable of pushing more air at 350ish kw, though they have been modified from stock so their limit is a bit unknown.

Ants, what's that whisky recommendation website that you use? Also, have you tried Macallan 12 or 18 YO?

Its this website mate http://www.smwhisky.com.au/

Yes, I have tried both Macallan 12 and 18 fine oak and also tried the Macallan Sherry Oak. I also happen to own both ;)

Does it come recommended?

well its Macallan mate. She's like the Nike of single malts its very good stuff but I find the price hard to justify.

Its why in fact Macallan went down the path of introducing the fine oak range because production costs are lower using american oak barrels (bourbon) rather than sherry oak barrels, however even their 18yo was like $189 IIRC.

My thoughts are as follows:

Fine oak - cheaper than Sherry oak and is very fruity, makes your mouth water / dry and then releases beautiful flavors like vanilla, raisins and fudge

Sherry oak - very exy but my favorite but caramel galore. Could really go without that artificial coloring IMO but the tastes - at first its very spicy, but after you have drank a dram you get the following flavours, burnt cookie / creme caramel, spices like cardamin, orange peel and a hint of wooden smoke - truly amazing mate.

you can make your own recommendation but I think you know what to go for now.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
