R33 Reverse Light Only Works In Neutral

Hey guys I was fixing a problem with my fuel pump today and noticed when I turned the accessories on to see if the pump was priming that my reverse lights were also on, any idea why this is? Because it even does it when I'm sitting in neutral at traffic lights, But won't work in any other gear including reverse

Any help would be greatly appreciated

That happened to a mate with a Gemini years ago, he accidently connected some plugs on the gear box wrong. Check that out

there is

a. a neutral switch( stops u starting in drive on auto cars)

b, a reverse switch

on the gearbox unplug whats plugged in now and swap it around
