Driver Side Window Gone Mental

Hey guys,

As the topic states, only noticing recently the window now shudders and goes wonky when you put the window down and when you wind her up it hits the top where it's meant to be and it goes down about 5 cm's

Not entirely sure but it could be the motor or something associated with it. Would most likely need to take the door off an examine but has anyone experienced this issue as well???

Hey bud,

It could be the two bracket guide things that sit inline with the door trim to guide the window - sometimes the screws get loose and the window starts going up crooked and making really retarded noises

Look below for image showing which screws im talking about (for an R33 - your car should be similiar).

So I gave it a red hot go today and my god the console for the windows was not detaching!!! Frustrated me to no end Getting nowhere

mY M35 did this a few weeks back,

did tough mudder and road there was bumpy as hell- made the two bolts holding the window track come loose and fall out- so a constant rattle was in the door-

pulled trim off and bolts fell out-

saw where they were meant to go- had to pry plate back into position and then rescrew.

before replacing trim, checked window movement and did go all the way up but then went down 5cm- found out this was due to the door trim not being on yet,

Once trim on work perfect and no rattle!!
