Rev-Shift Timer

Keep your engine Cool and Calm.

REV-Shift Timer does it all for you.

The REV Shift Timer was developed specifically to combat improper engine oil cooling and over-revving. The RST is a full functioning turbo timer with an integrated shift light, plus additional monitoring functions. All these features are built into the same compact size unit as ARK Design's Advanced Boost Controller (ABC) so the REV Shift Timer and ABC perfectly complement each other in any vehicle's interior.

Battery Voltage Display

Battery voltage can be displayed on the

LED display, along with battery change
status

Red LED screen

Rev-Shift Function

The engine's speed (RPM) can be captured through either the alternator pulse or directly from the ECU. The shift light can be set to turn on and off at any RPM. For indicator purposes, the LED will flash in bright white when the user preset shift point is reached.

Timer Function

Auto Mode calculates (by driving style) how long a turbocharged vehicle's engine should run after the ignition has been shut off. Manual mode allows the driver to set the desired idle time manually.

A/F Ratio Display

A/F ratio can be displayed numerically on the LED display and in color ranges by the LED indicator. A/F ratio is calculated from the factory O2 sensor. Because most OEM O2 sensors are designed for emissions, the RST readings may vary compared to a wide-band A/F meter.
* A/F ratio readings will only work with Zirconia type O2 sensors.

Keep your eye on the prize, not your gauge.

Over-revving any engine can lead to disastrous results, but with a turbocharged engine the risk is even greater due to the additional air being forced into the combustion chamber. The integrated shift light in ARK Design's RST allows driver to know precisely when to shift to avoid over-revving. The RST's shift light is a bright white LED that can't be missed when in a driver's line of sight. The A/F ratio is displayed in a numerical value on the LCD, and also as different colors on the LED indicator.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
