Please amend info. Turbos are stock R34 GTR spec ball bearing ceramics.

Tag number confirms that, as well as photos of housing sizes etc.

Cheers.

I think I sold mine for 2-400, can't remember.

Ceramic turbines wheels only last for so long. Those look in good nick though.

They are brand new never onto engine

Yours will do over 100,000km with up to 1 bar boost as they are new then :), 34 last and best of the ceramics.

They are worth storing.

So these have ceramic wheels? Mine where already on the car when I brought it, was told they were n1s which I didn't really care about. As previous owner obviously didn't know either, I just wanted a gtr. But I look up the AA300 number on Garrett and found they were only standard 34 gtr turbos. But running 300kwatw and no probs yet. Glws

And there's no way there new, obvious wear signs. Newish I'd change that too

How about we side bet $2000 I send those turbos to Nissan Australia ask them to inspect the turbo's condition so we will know they are new or been use!!

So you've been diddled by a Japanese scammer?

I think so I still got there commerical invoice when I import the turbos I use the invoice to pay import duty

But I got no GTR now SOLD it my wife doesn't want it, that's why I got my C63 AMG but I like NIssan so I bought a E51 Elgrand Highway Star

Nah I could just buy them off you for less than that. But yeah send them to nissan if you feel the need, there made by garret, so best to try them first I think.

Cool :whistling::whistling: :whistling:

Yep thought the same, when I seen this add, trying to pass these off as something there not, without even searching to find out what they are, and asking 3 x what there worth. Try gumtree might a nissan employee there interested in them

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
