dtf101
Hi guys, Just having an issue with a friends R32 GTR osf head light. It turns on for a bit then shuts completley down and stays off until the next day or so, sometimes it doesnt even flicker back on until couple days later. It's definatley not the bulb, fuse or switch as I've checked and replaced them all. Just wondering if anybody else has had the same issues with these cars... Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance! R.3.2.G.T.R
possibly the pots in the rotary switch itself, tends to wear away due to heat Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441933-32-gtr-headlight-issue/#findComment-7258923 Share on other sites
niZmO_Man
Probably switch. Wire up some relays, less load across the switch/standard wiring. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441933-32-gtr-headlight-issue/#findComment-7259193 Share on other sites
dtf101
Probably switch. Wire up some relays, less load across the switch/standard wiring. So just intercept the headlight wiring on each side with a relay?? niZmO_Man
I use just the driver's side headlight plug for the trigger signals (both low and high). Your new relay and wiring should be able to provide enough current for both headlights. -Tom
I had this issue as well where one headlight didn't want to turn on. Fitted in a relay so the on/off input signals only need to come from one side but it controls both headlights. I suspect my passenger side on/off signal wire had just given up. Kinda like this: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/441933-32-gtr-headlight-issue/#findComment-7260993 Share on other sites
