[Syd]Fs My02 Skyline V35 250Gt Sedan Automatic - Rare Itasha Version - $8.3K Ono

Recommended Posts

If you are a JDM fan you probably have heard of the "itasha" scene. This is one of the few examples available in Australia.

Finally selling my Skyline with a lot of love due to getting my full licence and updating to a 350GT.

MY2002 Nissan Skyline V35 250GT (Sedan) located in Sydney. 2.5LV6/158kw/RWD/Auto/P Plate legal. ODO currently reads 111,000km; serviced every 5-6km at JLM in Sydney and filled with 95/98 Petrol only.

Custom plate will not be transferred with car; I will remove the stickers if there is a need (done it before and paint is NOT affected at all).

Brand new Kenwood stereo/dash with ipod control and bluetooth music streaming/handless phone functions. If you are into V35 you know the stereo is probably the only design fault and is always a ticking bomb. I completely solved it. Dash is JDM unlike cheap metra aftermarket which will break again soon. New front bumper. Full body kits/side skirts. Rego is due late Oct 2014.

Price is $8,300 ONO. Happy to drive to Eastwood/Epping area for inspection but only after 6pm or on weekends as I work full time. For a car at this age the condition is excellent.

For more info feel free to drop me a text at 0430277788 (no calls during 9-5 weekdays plz) or write me an Email at [email protected].

Cheers,

Francis

Cannot edit the original post so have to bump it...

PRICE REDUCED TO $7.5K ONO as I had transferred the new car to my name already. Aiming to sell fast.

Again inspections are welcome. Stickers are fully removable so even if you are not after a fancy deco car you can still get a mint condition 250GT.

Hate to say it but all 250GTs are banned on P-plates and I would presume 300GTs would be as well as the already banned 350GT

Well I spent 3 years in this 250GT until I got my full this year. Pretty damn sure that 250GT is P-legal in NSW, if not all states.

Provisional laws before August 2014:

Non-V8, non-turbo - passed

Not on the list of prohibited vehicles (like 350GT) - passed

After August 2014:

Not exceeding 130kw/ton - passed. 250GT has 158kw and 1.57 ton as standard so that's way lower than 130kw/ton.

Not on the list of prohibited vehicles - again passed.

So I really don't understand why would you say "ALL" 250GTs are banned on Ps. Maybe if you mod it heavily they will but apparently my car has no mods to the engine/drive train whatsoever.

Just checked my rego paper last weekend. Rego is actually due 15 Nov 2014 so not October.

$7.5k open for negotiation.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
