E.O.I

I have a set ! Slight curb rash on all 4 wheels, not by me (it was like that when I bought the car).

I added Nismo stickers on them  , comes with 245/35/19 Federal 595 Evo semi-slick tires, have about 50-60% thread left on all 4 tires.

$1,600 O.N.O, located in Perth.

Great photo by the way! Always wanted to know what these looked like on a V36! :D

+1... I find this very hard to believe...

...and I want to belieb.

Yeah.. I haven't actually seen a set of 19in rays for that on their own, but I have seen a good set with decent near new tyres for $1000, so if you subtract the cost of the tyres, you could claim the rims come in at about the $300 figure??

I've seen 2 sets sell for $600 (one on eBay, another on FB) and another sell for $300. These are the 19" Rays OEM wheels (8" & 8.5") with tyres.

OEM 18" wheels only sell for $300-500. I've seen a set sell for $800, but they had 5km on them. They were practically untouched.

17" OEM wheels don't sell. You'd struggle to give them away.

Tyres on used rims don't add any value. They are usually a bonus that attract someone to the sale (similar to mods on a car).

A lot of people will claim these are rare & try to list for a crazy price. It's no surprise they are still holding onto them a year later. A lot of people put a high price ($1.5k) on 350z brembos or 370z akebonos (because of the brand). These are still OEM though and only sell for $800 from a wreckers. Sure they have the brand name, but they are still mass produced for these vehicles.

No one with any common sense.. $1600 for a set of OEM cast 18in rims.. ouch.. I guess they are hoping for someone with more money than brains..

Those rims would be lucky to sell for $300-400. Replacing the 2 unroadworthy tyres would make them more hassle than they are worth.

Plenty of people list things for unrealistic prices (especially retailers) - it doesn't mean that the market rate is even close to the amount. If it was, my V35 would be worth $26K after converting back to stock. :)

I wouldn't say OEM rims are worthless, the there are plenty of R33's with 34 rims, or 34's with V35/305z rims etc. I actually prefer the OEM look, I would only change my V35 rims to a bigger 18" or 19" style (or R35 GTR). Cant stand it when I see a nice car ruined with chromies, Bob Jane racing wheels or any other nonsense.

But 1600 is a bit too much, considering I saw a set of R35 GTR rims with Tyres for $2k not too long ago.

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
