Max Boost On 25 Neo Head

Hi all. Just wanted to know what is the most boost people are running on a std neo head. I have s1 pon cams fitted and has been ported. I have been told by a tuner that the most boost I can run is 22 psi. Because i only have Std valve springs And valves.

There would be alot of variables involved but safely I wouldn't boost mine past 20psi but mine is standard and unopened. Listen to the tuner if he is a reputable one. Do you have forged internals?

Neos have forged pistons from factory. + I'm about to build a 30 bottom end For it fully forged. The thing that through me was he said the early 25s r33 can take 32psi. So why would the neo be limited to 22psi being a better head ?

Pretty sure the neo has solid lifters out of the GTR not pistons but if you want to run high boost your going to have to change the valve springs at some point any way.

Neos have sold lifters correct. He was referring to the bottom end being forged.

If you look at 34Geeteetee's build, then that would suggest upwards of 30psi on a healthy neo head?

If your not using E85 then I know my tuner didn't want to use too much boost in case the valves got burnt.
