  1. Yes the 21U will work fine on a NEO i am running one on my 34 making 250rwkw
  2. Typical stiff fiberglass didn't even take them out of the box to see how well they fit but $550 for copies is a bit steep considering you can get other copies out there for a lot cheaper. I wanted genuine as I am running a east bear front lip so wanted to keep the theme going.
  3. The above ebay link is not genuine East Bear I bought side skirts off that seller and returned them once I received them, I even have messages on my phone of him saying they are copies once i caught him out. I have genuine East Bear front lip and skirts now you just got to suck it up and pay the $$$
  4. Thanks hopefully should be all good if I ever need to plug it back in
  5. Hey guys, So basically as the title says I had to remove a LinkG4 plug and play ecu for a RB25DET NEO, I made need to re plug the ecu back in the same car in the future will the ECU retain the last dyno tuned map on it?
  6. The old Edward Lees wind back ahahah I don't know how this guy has not been shut down yet.
  7. I also remember seeing this but I am in that many r34 pages on facebook I can't remember which one I saw it in.
  8. Kudos Motorsports sell the stud and nut togeather, we aleast thats where I got mine from a few weeks ago. Just send them an email and they will send you the link back to the product on there online store and be done with it. www.kudosmotorsports.com
  9. I am also running a NPC clutch but just the heavy duty organic and it's holding 250rwkw fine and the pedal feel is light and good for the street. There service is also awesome.
  10. I love how much the OP got hijacked ahahaha but some really good info in this thread. I got a HDI FMIC not a return flow type and no problems for me as yet
  11. 1998 R34 GTT RB25DET NEO Unopened Motor 160,000km - Full 3inch exhaust with split dump and highflow cat - AVCR boost controller - NPC heavy duty organic clutch - Nistune ECU - Siemens 550cc injectors - Apexi Pod - 3inch metal intake pipe - Z32 AFM - Hypergear R33 21U highflow - HDI FMIC - Nismo fuel pump - Yellow jacket coilpacks 250rwkw on 18psi tuned by Deren (godzilla32) at Tuned Performace.
  12. Hi Ryanh2512, You have pretty much the same mods as me, I just got my Hypergear Highflow from Stao installed and tuned yesterday. My car made 250rkwk on 18psi with the R33 21U Highflow very responsive and nice on the street. You may want to look into getting a 3inch metal intake pipe made up as well. Also thanks Stao for the turbo
  13. Does any one have any info on this HX35 turbo as I have never heard of it and it could be your problem?
  14. From the research I have done yes. Might be best to email the company to be 100% but from what I have gathered should be good.
  15. I was looking into upgrading mine as well in my 34, the best options I could see would be Koyo or PWR. They both make direct replacements and both are very good brands.
  16. This thread is quality ahahah. I say do it, you won't your scared the old you would have done it.
  17. I am with every one else if you want a decent setup to get the most out of the stock turbo I recomend just the basics, electronic boost controller, nistune ecu and retune could add a bigger intercooler if you wanted as well. Should be able to run about 10-12psi depending how good your clutch is and this setup won't cost you any more then $2,000
  18. He has also posted in this thread on page 1 about half way down he will be able to sort all your turbo needs
  19. A Hypergear highflow is $850 and will shit all over your china turbo

    Bov

Put the stock one back on block off the bov with a bit of sheet metal and get hektic flutter brah.
  21. If you want to get a more solid feel I would recomend the nismo solid shifter it's only a 10% shorter throw but its a solid piece so it will fix the slop in the standard shifter. I really can't see a 10% shorter shifter wrecking your synchros after all my GTT has had a proper short shifter in it for nearly 8 years and the gearbox still works fine.
  22. I doubt they did as well my guess is the oil in it now is way to thin thus making the engine a bit noisy once the oil is warm at idle. But any way the car is going for a retune and full inspection in 2 weeks.
  23. I wouldn't know as it was done on the last service but will keep the oil you susgested in mind when I change it soon thanks for your help
  24. wouldn't hurt to do a leakdown test in the future but right now for the mods the car has its making the right amount of power so I am not to concerened about the engine being really tied. My guess is I need to run a thicker oil as I gets thiner as it heats up.
  25. Yeah makes sense the car has 160 thousand on it so its expected. I got a new highflow going into the car in a few weeks and the boost will be turned upto 18psi so will just keep driving it till it dies.
