  1. Personally I would buy a 370GT over an 86 The 370GT is cheaper still pretty new and has a bigger engine still RWD and both coupes. Thats if you watned to go NA.
  2. You could go the evo or wrx road if you want a newer car with a turbo and some power will just miss the RWD then.
  3. Cold and hot starts it's even worse on hot starts, it takes less acceleration on cold starts to get it going.

  5. Injectors are brand new so too so fuel should be flowing pretty freely through them. Not going to name the shop that tuned it but they are ranked one of the better ones in QLD. Last time they tuned my car it was hitting boost cut in second gear and would not rev past 4,000rpm so I took it back but don't think I will this time will just change shop all together.
  6. If that doesn't work then you know its a lose solder some where some times it takes a bit of trial and erro but you will get there in the end.

Hi Guys, So basically I had 550cc injectors, Z32 AFM and a highflow installed in my r34 and ever since getting the car back from being tuned while starting the car i need to give the car some revs while turning the key to get it stated, the warmer the car the more revs that are needed to get it started. Any ideas what might be causing this, I am really hoping it's just a shitty tune as the car was never doing this before? I am thinking about getting the car retuned in a couple of weeks at a different shop but just want to see what other people think to try eliminate other factors first.
  8. Buy a GTS problem solved but yeah by a GTS build your spare rb25det on you P's then drop it in on your opens get it mod plated and good to go
  9. My leather was all cracked and spliting on my standard wheel so I put a JDM S15 wheel in wiring harnes is the same as r34 so the airbag & horn plugs straight in

  12. I am also having problems sourcing a metal intake pipe to suit standard turbo as I am running a highflow with a z32 AFM. Any one running a metal intake pipe? I got my Z32 AFM from a FB JDM sale page or you can get one from Japan just make sure your not getting a fake one if the price is to good to be ture it most probs is.

  14. I am running VDO SIEMENS 550cc drop in injectors in my 34, very limited to drop in injectors for the 34
  15. Want to buy a standard 21U r33 turbo condition doesn't matter to much as it's going to be highflowed. Location: Brisbane
  16. Can't be any more laggy then my current highflow setup, full boost at 5,000rpm thats living barry
  17. Wouldn't the r34 turbo be better for highflowing or does the lager rear create a lot of lag? My car has the below mods so the only piece to the puzzle missing is the turbo. Apexi Pod Nistune Npc Heavy Duty Organic Clutch Apexi AVCR boost controller Full 3.5inch zorst Nismo Fuel Pump Z32 AFM Siemens 550cc injectors Yellow Jacket Coil Packs HDI Front Mount So as you can see my car is capable of making some decent power just need the right turbo to do so.
  18. Hopefully this time the highflow lives up to it's expectations as I don't really want to pay more money to be disapointed again. Stao I will send you an email so this can be arranged in the new year
  19. I still have my old standard r34 op6 turbo should I highflow this or just get a ATR43 for the exrta $100 or so dollars? I just want a good all round turbo that comes on around 3,500 at the latest as I don't track or drift the car just for street use so the more standard looking the better? Want to make around 250-260rwkw anything above that is a bonus.
  20. Thats what i am thinking might buy my self a new turbo for christmas. Can any one confirm if I should be making full boost alot sonner even while running that low of boost?
  21. Hang on come to think of it there is no way my cat is blocked as I was running a standard turbo (12psi) before this highflow and was making full boost at around 2750rpm. Is it worth spending money on a new wastegate and a retune or just get a whole new turbo?
