  1. I will drop the oil and try a thicker one. Not sure but I doubt it was the stock one as every one knows they arn't accurate.
  2. Hi Everyone, I was told on my last tune that my oil pump was starting to get a bit lazy at idle, its fine when it's got some revs behind it. What are my options here, I was told to try run a thicker oil or is it worth investing in a genuine/aftermarket oil pump? What are some good oil pumps to suit an RB25DET NEO? Current car stats: 1998 R34 GTT 300hp on 13psi

  4. Had this problem when I took my stock turbo out but I assume mine was just from old age as the bolts where the factory ones from 16 years ago. Do you have a link to where you are buying the nissan ones from as I need a set?

  8. Well there you go, I am aiming for 250-260rwkw so if your happy with that sort of power the 21u should be fine
  9. Pretty sure the neo has solid lifters out of the GTR not pistons but if you want to run high boost your going to have to change the valve springs at some point any way.
  10. There would be alot of variables involved but safely I wouldn't boost mine past 20psi but mine is standard and unopened. Listen to the tuner if he is a reputable one. Do you have forged internals?
  11. If you already have a hypergear op6 highflow you might be able to get the rear housing changed over to the 21u just a thought would have to ask hypergear.

  14. But at the end of the day you will probably want a good free flowing exhaust too after adding a little extra boost with a split dump pipe.
  15. In short yes it works 10psi all day everyday.
  16. This is 100% correct the OP6 highflow will cause a fair bit of lag, I myself just got a 21U highflow and am taking out my OP6 highflow as i want response. You will only lose about 10rwkw of top end power. Another member on here helped me make my mind up he said he had owned a skyline with a OP6 highflow and one with a 21U, on a dyno the OP6 made more power but on the street the 21U felt alot faster. Will have more info once I get mine installed and retuned
  17. +1 for Hypergear just got my turbo yesterday in the mail so I am yet to install, but Hypergears highflows have been proven time and time again to make 250rwkw easily with the right mods on pump 98.
  18. I agree with the above I had an impreza on my p's and then a ke70 for my final year of my p's and then on my opens I bought my skyline. When you first get your license you do stupid things every one does.
  19. That R34 in that blog is pretty dam nice. Also very interested in seeing the results after your tune, sounds like your on track for a nice street car.
  20. My parents had their car wirtten off cause it needed a full respray due to a factory fault

  22. In this day and age I belive the spray patteren of oversized injecotrs have proven to be fine, there are plenty of guys running 1000cc+ injectors in there rb's.
