Hey Guys,

Its my first post here and I come to ask for some help removing my driver side door from my R33 GTST. I can see its a very straight forward process, disconnecting the loom at the edge of the door and unbolting 4 bolts, but Im having alot of trouble reaching the bolts with my tools. Does anyone have any tips on how to be able to access the bolts holding the door to the chassis?

Cheers,

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

I swapped my passenger door on sunday... best advice i can give you; remove the front fender.

May seem like more work, but makes life a heap easier, and less chance of damage. It's all 10mm sockets and small ratchet from there. Should be 9 or 10 bolts to remove the fender, 4 for the door, 1 for the loom.

Get someone to help you, and use a floor jack to support the weight of the door.

A mate and I did it in just over an hour, including swapping the glass/motor/locks everything into the new door.

Hope that helps.
