Anyone in SA use Apexi GTR turbos?

Hi Guys, just chasing a lead on the Apexi AX53b60 turbos for GTR's. I'm looking at purchasing a set for my car, but want to know if anyone has any real experience with them....

I have been told they 'compare' with GT2530's - but I would like to know when they make boost/what they are like on the street. I'm not into drag or circuit and want to keep the good low punch.

I remember seeing a chart by "I think" AtomicBomberMan that showed a flow chart comparison between HKS GT2530's APEXI's, Trusts & another type.. maybe PM him.

One of our customers bought a AX53B70 of us for his 32 GTST and he make 220rwkw with stock fuel pump, injectors and computer (re-mapped)

He just has a cooler and exhaust, and running 14psi through the turbo.

From what i hear and read they are awesome turbo's and come on boost 3000-3500

Also they come in a full kit with braided oil line's, head gasket etc.

A mate has a AX53B60 on a Pulsar GTi-R - bloody awesome little turbo! Super responsive 'and' a solid top end. Full boost at 3000rpm.

I think DAN is looking for anyone who has these fitted to a GTR...

haven't seen a GTR equiped with those turbo, but heard (mate's friend car) the response is very close to stock. the 2530 has a touch more lag than them.
