Man, they still going? I had them machine the block and head out of my 180B back in 1988. Bill Chilton was about 70 in the shade back then.

They were recommended to us by a Mercedes dealer, when we were looking to get a 1966 Mercedes engine overhauled back in about 1983 or so. The few times I used them the work was top quality, but that's 30 years ago so I can't give any commentary of their current capabilities.

bill's son david runs the shop now. and yes they are still going, and I hope they are going until im done with cars! they are really that good at what they do, highly recommend David at Chilton Engineering.

Prices are fair and work quality is always top notch.
