  1. Yeah the R32 and R33 had the R180 in them. With the R32 anything with a CA18i in it will have a R180. For both of them with the RB20e you will have to check the build plate, if it says RB39, RB40, RB41 it has a R180, if it has RC and any 2 digit number, it has a R200.
  2. Is the solenoid on the steering rack plugged into anything?
  3. It looks like someone has used shear bolts. You can and undo them with some vice grips or if that doesn't work, drill the heads off them.
  4. A press and a bearing seperator works pretty good. Those snap rings hold the outer shell of the bearing, the hub and inner bearing can be removed with them still in place.

  11. Considering there is nothing on the shell Australia website about it and the only place on earth they are selling it is Illinois USA Shell e85 i'm going to say no.
  12. Hit up Hybrid Turbos, hybrid turbos and turbo dynamics are the same company but turbo dynamics list the 8374 external gate as sold out. $2400 Australian dollars for my turbo, the 8374 would be under $3k delivered to your door.
  13. Which turbo are you getting? Turbo dynamics are the cheapest i could find. $2400 including postage and customs for my 7670, i ordered it on Thursday night and it was delivered 8:00am Monday morning. The cheapest i could find in Australia was $2825 + postage.
  14. 3-5k to bring a stock RB25 to 250-280kw is a joke right? Injectors, turbo, ecu, RB25 gearbox, clutch, tail shaft, tune plus all the other small things your looking at $10k minimum. If you want to be able to make stop, turn and go you are going to need a 1.5 way LSD, decent pads and rotors, briaded brake lines, tyres, new suspension and new bushes, that's another $10k there. My personal opinion is don't get a bank loan for your toys, if you can't pay for them straight up wait until you can.
  15. The pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body will need to be remade. The bov gets installed before the throttle body on the new piece of intercooler piping and new pipe work will need to be made from the bov to the intake pipe, or don't bother reinstalling it and enjoy the flutters. The lines that are on the J pipe get installed on the new intercooler pipe and the lines that are on the stock plenum get installed on the freddy plenum, the factory lines probably aren't long enough so you will need new longer pieces of hose.
  16. That really tells you nothing, you want the measurements with the engine bracket and mount attached to their respective crossmember? R32 and R33 engine brackets and mounts are different, just measuring the crossmember and going the engine will be 14.5mm lower might not be true once everything is bolted up.
  17. There are 2 different types of HKS step 2 cams, post the lift and duration not stage or step. Both require new valve springs, recesses in the pistons and head clearance around the cams and that's an engine rebuild job. What were they going to do for this $3500 fuel system upgrade? sounds like someone is ripping you a new one. A walbro 460 fuel pump, some 1000cc - 1600cc injectors and replace the old rubber fuel hose, job done. Oil pump is an engine out job, the sump needs to be removed and the only way to get to all the bolts on the sump is to remove the gearbox. As kiwi said get rid of the twins and put a Borg Warner EFR 8374 on there instead.
  18. Yes they swap over. No there aren't any benefits. To swap it over you will need R33 engine brackets, R33 engine mounts, R33 power steering rack and R33 power steering lines
  19. The sides and the bottom aren't damaged? If you just need the top radiator support the part number is 62510-15U00- the part number for the complete radiator support is 62500-23U00-
  20. Yes you have a pull type gearbox that someone has converted push. The parts listed above will change it back to pull and you can use your new nismo clutch.
  21. There aren't any mounting points for the pull type slave cylinder on the push type gearbox
  22. If your gearbox looks like the pic below you have a pull type gearbox that has been converted to a push type, if your gearbox is missing the threaded holes on the left of the dust boot cover you have a push type gearbox and it can't be converted to a pull type. If you have option 2 you might be better off looking for a R33 gtr gearbox.
