Ok so still some room for improvement. I'll have to see what can be done about that.

27 rwkw increase, might get another 5 or 10 with leaner mixtures ??

I'll scan the graph in at work tomorrow. Power curve looks quite fat to me.

Abo Bob, good work and good to hear its going well.

666Dan, very interested to hear what you can report on the ingnition harness.

FYI, my GTT has been running EManage (minus ignition harness for close to 2 years now and i am very happy with the result and response...no auto issues to date with crisp, fast changes but am considering auto mods such as altering stall etc. Current set-up: Hybrid FMIC, Hi-flowed standard turbo,Emanage,AVC-R (running 1 BAR), K&N Panel filter, Z32 AFM, 3" Dump, 3.5" JASMA exhaust and 3" CAT back, current power 220rwkW...am fitting Walbro internal 255lph fuel pump and searching for a set of injectors....

Cheers,

Michael

Just an update for the people that didn't see my post in the e-manage thread....the ignition harness works if a 3.3V Zener diode is wired in reverse bias with the ignition signal wire.

If anyone needs more details just PM me...I'll probably post a diagram of it as well.

It's great now I can actually alter my ignition timing :)

Hey Dan! if you dont mind me asking how much did you pick up the emanage and wiring etc.. for?? hehe Ive got a power fc sitting here right now that I cant use (dammit)

You can get the e-manage for $700 delivered, this is a full kit including software for a laptop.

And contrary to belief the shifting is not affected at all, I'm running an N/A computer with boost, so my ignition curve has been messed with drastically from the factory values and it shifts as sweetly as it ever did.

You can get the e-manage for $700 delivered, this is a full kit including software for a laptop.

This is my understanding of "full kit" with prices as at yesterday;

1. E-manage main unit

$US295 = $A415

2. E-manage Support Tool

$US119 = $A167

3. Optional Injection Harness

$US32 = $A45

4. Optional Ignition Harness

$US34 = $48

Package $US449 = $A632

+ Freight $A100

+ Duty 15%

+ GST 10%

That’s $A926 in total, or have I missed something?

The whole package delivered is actually US$500 (inc freight) which is ~ AU$690, customs & GST is a strange one, as my package was opened & inspected by australian customs and sent on it's merry way to me without ANY additional cost.

The support tool is readily available as a *free download and clone USB cables can be had for US$50 this will also bring cost down a bit.

    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
    • Yes, well. Mine are less than half that. ARBs are not set to "dumb" either.
    • I would hope. But, we all know even the best companies have an issue sporadically.
