Rb 20 Fault Code ,55

One of our cars RB 20 has the dreaded low speed stall ,we get fault code 55 which should be ok ? .Or no malfunction ? So maybe it is the wiring loom ? Any thoughts ?.

Cant find boost leak ,fairly standard engine and stock ECU.

Atmo BOV? No BOV?

Last cleaned the AFM when?

Checked the solder joints in the AFM?

Put the CAS signal on a CRO to look for jitters/horrible signal quality?

Cleaned the idle air control valve?

Cleaned the throttle body with carby cleaner?

Checked the spark plugs?

Yes GTS Boy done all of the above ,has had Atmo Blow off for 2 years ,new plugs gapped ,soldered and swapped afm ,swapped,cleaned everything cas ,etc etc last time we had issue we just read the code and fixed the problem .My thoughts were the test for codes only picked up parts like not a loom issue ?

No....codes only tell you when something is completely f**ked. If it is dirty/degraded/halfway f**ked, then the ECU can't tell. The rules in the ECU for raising codes against most sensors are;

Can I talk to the sensor? If yes, then no code. If no, then code it up - my job is done.
