Hello everybody.Like I've said in my introduction thread, I'm starting a build thread. Won't put everything online at ones so I'll be updating it regularly.

The picture above was my car back in 2010 when I first saw it. After seeing it for only a second I knew it was coming home with me. And after feeling the power than came from the Rb25 I was hooked.

Than one day my engine started to run different and I ended up having it rebuild.

So it went from this:

To this:

It's build with cp pistons, eagle rods, acl bearings, arp headstuds and the crank was also made as it was new. The head is also completely rebuild but with stock parts.

So fresh start and was hoping on a lot of hp.......

Bummer. It only made 393hp. Turbo was maxed out.

Enough for today, going to bed. Will continue asap.

At least I had the car back home and could drive it.

But after a while I got sick of the spoiler so after searching on the web, I ended up on eBay and found the spoiler I wanted. Had to wait a long time before It get here because it had to come all the way from Japan. When it did arrive I removed de passenger seat and drove to Rotterdam.

You should've seen the face of the guys at the port. They where afraid it wouldn't fit in,it did,but only just.

That's one sexy, rare wing  Do you guys see what brand it is? A couple of mounting points needed some repair but got that done and had it painted at the cost of my old wing. The result:

The stickers had to go too so pulled them all off.

Till next time :action-smiley-069:

Than one day I had the opportunity to trade (+get paid!) my carbon hood for a almost complete R33 GTR front end. The only thing that didn't include were the headlights. Lucky me that I've a S1 GTST so I could use my own but with spacers.

So goodbye hood!

Don't have a clue what kind of bumper it is. Asked around at the Dutch skyline forum but nobody could give me a defined answer. So if anybody know's what it is please let me know! That'll be much appreciated!

Before my car came to the Netherlands it was owned by someone in the UK. That person had the car repainted and I found out why. There's accident damage on the left front of the car which was masked with some type of sealant and painted over. Also the intercooler was damaged so I bought a new intercooler and with the intercool came a turbo. Turbo intake pipe and manifold were also found.

A slightly bigger turbo than before.

It's a t04R. Will have it mapped with it but it'll most likely be replace with something like a gt30. If I knew what I know now I wouldn't have bought it back in the day. Same with the manifold.

A tial wastegate should do the job to complete the setup.

Building could begin.....

    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
    • Probably. I take it that they are also mentioned to be for R34 Skyline? For example.... RDA has that part as RDA7957. I have the dimpled and slotted version of that on my car https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285518478694?srsltid=AfmBOopKxMuAFpsxZJdB1cam4D5RAj1f9yJyOttPZLAwXVNCOiwlhrIy This is DBA's top one piece equivalent https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364246686631?srsltid=AfmBOorbb0XHQgqTvZLgQPhg70nqJtGvdojKnugum3O2LFSr2h-obp8D
    • Ok i will get those 310mm. I found one but on a different site. This is the description on those...is it ok? Technical parameters: - Axle: front. - Disc type: ventilated. - Number of holes: 5. - Disc diameter: 310mm. - Total height with center: 54mm. - Thickness (new/min.): 30/28mm. - Designed for brake calipers manufacturer: Sumitomo.
