Putting my beast up for sale as I no longer use it. It’s currently relegated to sitting in my garage getting a run around every few weeks and an oil change every other month, but it’s just costing me space and money now so I’d like to move it onto someone who can enjoy it. I originally bought it with a mate and we did it up for Powercruise 2014, enjoyed the weekend thoroughly and since then it has only attended the odd cruise or TNT event. Was originally going to head to Powercruise 2015, but buying a house this year took all my time away.

It’s a series 1 GTS-T with 186,XXX km’s. Mechanically its great, cosmetically its average but it was never bought for anything other than something to go fast. Makes a consistent ~400rwhp on E85 and ran a 12.2 @ 119mph at Willowbank before we destroyed the standard clutch.

Mods include (in no particular order)

Link G4+ ECU (plug-in Nissan model) with CAN & OBD2 features unlocked
Hybrid Performance GT3582 turbo
Hybrid Performance exhaust manifold
ARP head stud kit
Bosch 750cc injectors
Proflow top feed fuel rail with Speedflow fittings
Genuine Sard FPR
450lph Walbro E85 fuel pump
Yellowjacket coilpacks
BC Racing coilovers all round with adjuster front upper arms
NPC 10 inch 5 puck carbotic cushion button clutch
HDI GT2 Intercooler & piping
Nismo low temp thermostat
K&N Filter
18 inch wheels and ATR sport 2 tyres
New rotors and pads
Hidden catch can with filter
New steering wheel (large offset as my mate is rather large and his knees didn’t fit well behind the one that came with the car)
Flanged screamer pipe off the wastegate – I had the tuner fabricate a flanged pipe so that I could run the car with normal plumb-back piping on the road, and then remove it for fulli sik screamer loudness with a few bolts. To this day I’ve never remembered to remove it before taking it out, but its handy to have regardless

Other stuff that came with the car when I bought it;

Horrible SSQ copy BOV (never bothered to remove it)
Forward facing plenum
Full 3 inch exhaust with high flow CAT
Generic boost gauge
Turbo timer
Mongoose immobiliser system
Alloy radiator

Probably a bunch of other stuff that I cannot remember now, but will update as I remember.

Good things;

All parts and mods are just over a year old or newer
Mechanically good condition
Have all receipts for parts and work done
Plenty of power left in it, runs stock wastegate spring pressure @ 18psi
Still has ice cold climate control aircon!

Not so good things;

Body is ok condition, front bar is hacked up a bit from previous install of cooler piping
Interior is ok, but nothing spectacular – sound system is shit
Some rust in the boot wheel well
Some low life prick broke into it earlier in the year at the workshop and smashed the driver’s window. Didn’t steal anything or break anything else (must have been spooked by someone) but we had to replace the window with one from the wreckers and the tint is peeling off in areas.

Looking for around $13k which I feel is reasonable based on the other examples out there, but happy to negotiate with the right buyer. Currently registered until February 2016, happy to get a RWC for the right price or sell unregistered if someone wants a track weapon. Can provide more pics if required (sorry about the dirty pictures)

    • If you are Ecutek tuned then these TCU tunes are anywhere from $550 to $700 usd. If you are not ECUTEK tuned, then it gets costly!
    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
