Never fear, Bob is here!

The part number is 24431-18V21 and yes I got if direct from NISSAN.

This is for the bigger Australian sized battery. The OEM Japanese ones are smaller.

The correct battery (right terminals) I bought that fits in the box is a Century Maintenance Free (Part Number) NS60MF.

Paid about $150.00 from Battery World.

Cheers,

Bob.

Wow superhero entrance lol

Thanks heaps ay Bob [emoji106]

Bought a yuasa battery from Battery World today for $159 which seems normal I guess and it was a better fit than the one that came out.

it seems a tiny bit smaller as the edges of the corners tend to split the plastic on all the other batteries.

Thanks again mate[emoji106]

Just quickly Google that part number and it saves the Nissan Laurel has the same battery cover which isn't uncommon but what was the surprise is it's 19 us dollars.

Correct......... I bought one from Nissan for about $30.00 Aussie.

JP-Car Parts are fine...... I have bought from them previously but remember there will be freight charge on top. Nissan locally will be cheaper all up.

Compare the battery you bought by size with the battery I recommended, they may be different thus the cover may be too big.

Ring battery World and ask them to check the size comparisons.

I got caught out by this once before as the Japanese OEM batteries are a fair bit smaller.

Anyone know where I can get a battery hold down? I need the entire setup, in other words the top bar and the vertical "hook" too. When I imported my car, they stole my Nismo Strut bars F&R along with the battery and the entire hold down assembly of all things...

Thanks you ! I have searched everywhere and always come up with a part number for OEM Nissan, but No description..

Next issue lol, I ordered a single 6466 kit from Goleby and did the entire transaction through email due to not being able to call Australia. Any chance they have a website or email address?

Hey mate, wondering if you have the dimensions for battery cover at all? I have the Bnr34 battery tray in the trunk and trying to find the right one, if one fits for this setup. Epc data and Amayama list one for gtt but not GTR, but curious if there’s any that will actually fit this setup.   Thanks

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
