GTR-32U
Hi all, I'm about to change out some blown bulbs in my climate control. To my understanding they run 3 T3 bulbs and 3 T4 bulbs. Now before I start the job I want to have everything ready to fix it all. While I'm doing that I also want to change the bulb inside the Hazard light switch. Mine has never worked but I do believe that the hazard symbol is supposed to light up when the headlights are on. But I don't know what bulb it takes. Anyone ever done this ? And can anyone confirm what size bulb goes in there.... thnx Johnny Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/465510-r34-gtt-hazard-light-bulb/ Share on other sites
GTR-32U
Job done. Purchased a bulb from Jaycar however I ran into problems as the wiring was the soft copper type and the bulb wouldn't seat properly. As I had just replaced the climate control with LED bulbs the easiest solution was to remove the bulb from the t3 fitting and put it into the silicon fitting. Not an overly difficult job but very fiddly. But if you need to buy the whole bulb+fitting the number on the back of the fitting is tsd 077 .This kind of bulb is used in many other kinds of cars. The only other advice is to use precision screwdrivers and prise the switch apart gently while the switch is depressed so the spring doesn't go flying out. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/465510-r34-gtt-hazard-light-bulb/#findComment-7795052 Share on other sites
