Exempt For Compliance Plate

Anybody gone through this process?

My 32 was stolen a few years back and they removed my compliance plate and vin plate. I found the vin plate under the battery, but the compliance plate is long gone.

I've been able to rego it each year, but Regency have now but a stop to that and require me to come in for an "exemption for compliance plate"

I've reverted everything back to stock (exhaust, BOV, EBC, height, pod) but my front reo bar is cut for a GTR front / intercooler and I doubt my seatbelts would pass a proper regency inspection (original set got burnt, the ones in now are from, i believe a sedan. 

Also, it has a new engine from ichiban in as they toasted it when it was stolen, but i still have the old motor at home.

just curious if anyone knows what's involved and what they'll check, I rang Regency and didnt really get an answer.

Need a police check and to get a full roadworthy inspection (basically a major defect check) through regency. Mr619 is the form you need. Did it with my 180 about 2 months ago.

Confirmation from TransportSA, vehicle requires a full roadworthy inspection.
