As topic states, I have a Master/Slave Dual DIN Carrozzeria (aka Pioneer) HU pair for sale. Selling due to recent HU upgrade.

They are both in good condition and consist of an equaliser (master) and a CD player (slave). However, please take into account that the master's display does not illuminate for an unknown reason, and a manual is unavailable.

Both the faceplate and the manual are possibly available as separate items through Pioneer Australia or Canada, if not Pioneer Japan. The HUs came with the car from Japan and have a Japan->Australia frequency adjuster, making it useable with Australian radio frequencies.

Details are as follows:

Model No.s: KEH-P770 (master), CDS-P77 (slave)

5 preouts for four speakers and a sub

4 x 35W output

Playback of cassette tapes and factory CDs (not CDR/RWs/MP3s)

Numerous screensaver displays

Green/aqua illumination, green backlight

Detachable front panel for equaliser (master)

3 individual user equaliser preferences

Different equaliser settings for rock, jazz and classical

Balancer/fader

Frequency adjuster for converting Japanese to Australian radio frequencies

Labelled wiring for simple installation

When I took out the HU, I also forgot to remove the cassette. So you also get a free Initial D cassette tape with the deal ;)

If you can read Japanese, more details are available here

Looking for $100 ono. Vic buyers are preferred for pickup but can post at buyers expense. Interested parties please PM.

*** bump ***

Now asking for $70 ONO. Someone out there's gotta want a cheap CD player!!!

Just reiterating, vic buyers pick-up preferred but I will COD ($30) interstate.

sorry mate but $50 is going just a bit too low for me. I've already cut the price from $100!!! It's only $10 difference for you, but $50 difference for me! Re-iterating offer, $60 pick-up.

You can't see the master's display, at night or day. But both master's and slave's buttons light up with accessories, and the CD unit display works perfectly.

have you looked into getting it fixed at all and do you know if it is repairable ? will the cd unit work without the master ?

nup, havent looked into it at all, wouldn't be worth it IMO. I'm pretty sure you need the master to run the cd-player.

Still up grabs ppl. Can't get a CD player for this price anywhere else!

    • So I actually had the cover off my car today, here is a (bad) pic of the setup. I have an oil cooler thermostat block, the temp sender is straight in there. The pressure sender has a short AN line to a T piece which is mounted (hopefully cable tied counts as mounted....) on the chassis. BTW every fitting you could ever imagine exists....just depends what they cost and how many you need. Raceworx AN adapters are here: https://raceworks.com.au/fittings/adapters/, I think you said you need BSPT to AN (https://raceworks.com.au/fittings/adapters/bsp/tapered/an-to-bspt-adapters/) and AN to NPT (https://raceworks.com.au/fittings/adapters/npt/) BTW, braided line is super simple to make. It looks intimidating, is not.
    • Perfect day for a pie, really needs a soft top in this weather though
    • Prime parking, she is a little girl...LOL
    • I'm actually not sure - I think it was "Stealth Performance" (It really is near impossible to find a FEMALE 1/8BSPT to 1/8NPT male at ALL) but having the thing leveraged on a 90 degree angle on a small aluminium fitting is not too smart. Also in not too smart, I've drilled out the center of the broken fitting so there's maybe 0.00001mm of thread to bite into, so yeah. I may have to get it drilled/tapped/plugged entirely. Given I could conceivably tap a thread/adapter/pressure line in any point in the oil system I suppose it's feasible to run a line to the Nissan Sensor to keep the dash working. Do these exist in AN fittings and the like? Like an AN fitting that has a NPT (or other?) thread as well for putting a sensor in?
    • I would agree.  There will be an amount of boost you could run safely with an otherwise factory system, but it would be low enough to not be worth the cost.  And if you are reliving your 20s, you know a 'little bit' was never enough. Personally, if I didn't want to spend the money, then stick with NA bolt-ons, and maybe a tune.
