Itinerary:

We will meet at McDonald's / KFC on Windsor road and from there will head onto Putty Road.
There will be a break at the Halfway Truck Stop which we should reach at approximately 11:30am.
For all the Newcastle folks this will be a good point to join up.
From here we will continue on to Singleton for lunch.

Please remember to fill up prior to heading onto Putty Road. There will not be a fuel stop until Singleton.
To those running on E85, the United at Vineyard on Windsor Road has started selling there.
At Singleton there is a range of servo's available including BP, Shell and Caltex.

There will be a lead and follow car so no one should get lost.
We will also be bringing along walkie talkies to keep the group together so if you have one please bring it along.

If you would like to attend or bring others along please put your name down and a +1 as numbers will be needed prior!

To keep inline with the NSW Government's COVID requirements, we will have the following rules/requirements:
- A QR code will be available for all to scan in at the start point and the Truck Stop.
- All people joining us at Royal Hotel Motel will be required to check in with the pub upon arrival.
- Everyone will be required to maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times.
- SAU NSW staff will be monitoring attendees for social distancing and will have the event QR code for all to scan.
- Limited spaces will be available at the Royal Hotel Motel for those wishing to stay for lunch. An event will be posted shortly to our online store for you to register/save your seat for lunch. More spaces will become available as restrictions ease.

This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. If this is what you want please come to one of our many track days.

This is an official SAU:NSW event and will be run under a CAMS permit.

SAUNSW may film and photograph the event, for the purpose of event coverage, to be placed on SAUNSW social media sites.

One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general.
When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to:
• Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly.
• Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should.
• Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly.
• Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Thanks guys and hope to see you there!

*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT*

As many of you are aware, there have been a few COVID outbreaks across Sydney and NSW this past week.

As far as the SAU NSW team are concerned, this couldn’t have come at a worse time, being days out from Christmas, and tomorrow’s cruise!

Tomorrow’s cruise will still be going ahead, HOWEVER, we must regretfully ask that anyone who lives in any of the current hotspots (ie Northern Beaches), or has been in contact with anyone who lives in these hotspot areas, please remain home, as per the advice of NSW Health and the NSW Government. This also extends to anyone who feels sick, or has any flu-like symptoms - please remain home.

As much as we desperately want everyone to come out and enjoy the day, we have to remain conscious of the spread of COVID, and make every effort to minimise its reach!

Don’t fret though! We’ll be making every effort to keep our events running into and throughout the new year!

With a little cooperation and patience, this flare-up of cases will be short lived, and we’ll be back on track to hold our usual events with everyone attending!

We’re looking forward to when all of this COVID-madness is behind us all!

So how'd it go ?

I know it was raining in the morning out that way.

Was there a good turnout ?

The turnout was great, considering the weather in the morning. The cruise went smoothly and the food was great at The Royal Hotel. Pictures are slowly being put up by people on Facebook and Instagram.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
