93 ECR33 GTS-25t RB25DET throttle body sensor with no wires on the electrical plug

On my recently purchased 93 ECR33 GTS-25t RB25DET, the throttle body has this:

I assume this device is a throttle position sensor?

The electrical connection has no wires coming out of it - is that an issue or is this a common setup when modifying these vehicles?
