Hi all,
Very long time reader (10+ years), first time poster (and account created).
Figured it was about time I made an account so I can post my travels and comment.
Currently own a R32 GTS (na shell with RB20DET [73u, not a DE+t]) First 2 pics are of how I got it.
Came with the below:

  • Nistune
  • 1000cc Injectors
  • FMIC
  • Bigger fuel pump (forgot which one)
  • TD05 18g (antisurge)
  • Z32 MAF

Making 239rwkw

3rd Photo is how its sitting waiting for paint at the moment.
Since I've had it, i've done the following:

  • BC Coilovers (DS w extreme drop kit)
  • R33 GTS-t Brake set up (braded lines, dbc rotors, intima ss pads), running a BM57 brake master
  • 5 stud set up all round.
  • R200 4.11 LSD (out of a stagea), 5 half shafts out of a 33 gts-t
  • JSAI GTR front bar, Carbonetics GTR grill, GTR bonnet conversion
  • Genuine set of door cards (sedan door cards are the worst to find)
  • R33 GTR wheels

Still to do:

  • Refresh a non hicas R32 subframe I bought
  • Re-wire some of the bay (there's a weird issue that has a wire coming directly from the alternator to the battery light in the dash. Battery doesnt charge if its not connected)
  • Fix the reverse lights (currently hardwired from battery, to reverse switch, to tail lights to pass the RWC I never had to get lol)
  • Hopefully sort some A/c out as I have no AC parts.

Currently it is sitting at a mates resto shop where he has installed a new quarter panel from another shell I previously bought.
If all goes well, it will be at All Jap Day in Adelaide on the 26th of Feb.

Cheers,

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
