Last year I had my Android phone working perfectly with Bluetooth into my car. I could make & receive calls using the Bluetooth in the car and play music from my phone through the AUX; bluetooth audio for music is rubbish.

I can even still see that my phone is a valid device that has already been paired to the car previously. However, now, I cant turn the bluetooth ON in the car, its disabled in the menu. Note, I have had the center computer converted to english.

The only thing that changed since I noticed it does not work anymore, is that mid Dec to end Jan I did not drive the car, and battery went flat.

Does anyone know of a setting somewhere to enable my bluetooth in the car? Once its enabled pairing is a doddle.

This either either totally unhelpful or maybe half helpful depending how you look at it....but I remember a thread on the same question in the last year or 2, so have a look back a bit deeper in this forum

Just following Duncan's lead on possibly not being very helpful.

What happens when you select Pair Phone?

If the previous pairing got corrupted for whatever reason and the car can pair new devices, you need to go to the phone's bluetooth settings and forget the previous pairing. Then pair again.

Apologies if this is obvious.

As the Bluetooth cannot be turned on, the car does not appear in the list of devices to connect on my phone Bluetooth pairing screen. And vice versa, it does not see my phone is looking to pair.

I did a search of the whole internet, but knowing this possible tidbit, I will search across the forum only and see what appears. I actually needed one of my own posts the other day, and my profile did not find it, but a site targeted search found it. So here's hoping.

That was easy to find, if this is the post?

In that case, he was able to switch Bluetooth on, but had issues paring the phone. Once Bluetooth is on, pairing wont be a problem. And technically, the phone is already paired and in the list of paired devices on the car. IIIIFFF I can turn Bluetooth on.

I tried with the car running, with the engine off but the car electricals on, in gear in park and in neutral. As soon as you start moving, all the settings get disabled for safety.

For anyone who doesn't know the trick, to do a google search of only SAU for a term, below is what I used to get the above sop quickly.

https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Awww.sau.com.au+bluetooth

But most Bluetooth issues found by the above are with the audio breaking up or stopping.

post was saved before I actually finished, must of hit a bad key.

This is still not working! and every time I get a call while I am driving it grates me knwoing it used to work.

I read or saw some youtube suggestions of rebooting the system, by holding down the status (I think its the middle button on the left, but I have tried just about all with the power button) & power button for 190 sec, but I didnt seem to get it to work. It may be only Infinity G37'w. Has anyone done a reboot on the 370GT? Mine is 2008.

One thing I have been meaniog to try, and it is the kinda the event that I think triggered it. I didnt drive my car for 2 months, and the battery went flat. If I dont drive it for a week, the battery is always totally charged. Maybe I left the internal light on IDK. So I am thinking of disconnecting the battery for an hour or so, and checking if that helps/corrects it. but its a hail mary.

Any other ideas? I am truly hoping the Bluetooth module hasnt been damaged in anyway by the slow discharge. Nothing comes up on the ODBII scan, and I found the system info page, and it implied the bluetooth was ok/present

    • I have more than enough digging, laying blocks, moving gravel, airrating, feeding and top soiling the grass, and setting up the veggie gardens growing some seedlings,  and then removing all the unused rock to keep me busy for the next few months at least,  hopefully the rain stops soon so I can get a few hours in this arvo, but, before that Sunday is washing day, is every body happy, you bet your life we are Nice country road day drives are a day off whenever I'm muscle sore from all the landscaping at the moment, but, more epic multiple day drives will start once the majority of the big jobs outside are completed
    • I hear that would involve some nice country road drives into the hills for Mark...
    • I thought I'd come back and add something I JUST learned. A Toyota LandCruiser with a 1HZ, mates perfectly with a bottle of Nulon brake fluid. As in, it perfectly screws in. Great make shift funnel when you cut the bottom of it off. This may work for your Corolla.   Unfortunately, tipping a 10L drum is much harder than a 4 to 6L bottle, and they no longer include the easy pour tap which was just perfection to use previously.
    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
