BOV placement.

Hi all

I am a little confused as to where the best spot to have the BOV mounted would be? I currently have my aftermarket BOV located near the front on the intercooler piping, but i still also have the stock BOV in place (which is leaking really badly) near the plenum/throttle body as per the image attached. Im considering getting scraping the stock BOV completely and replacing it with the aftermarket one and getting another intercooler pipe to replace the one with the BOV adaptor on it. What do you guys think?

Best place is as close to the throttle body as possible. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Why don't you just do this? (picture)

Or take off the std BOV and put a blanking plate there, and keep your existing aftermarket BOV where it is.

Yeah, im pretty keen to mount it close to the throttle body so i don't have to run the vacum hose over the entire engine. Although i have heard rumours that it causes your car to stall more often etc?

I thought it was the other way around. Mine hasn't stalled yet with this setup.

Near the outlet of the intercooler in front of the inner guard.
