GT wings...aren't they illegal ?

Hi.... i am thinking of getting one of them GT wings for my ride,..actually it's a new body kit but the wing's a GT wing... but a friend of a friend of mine reckons they're illegal to put on a stock car.

this dude's car was a soarer and he has one of them GT wings but was pulled over the other night and had a defect notice for the GT wing,.which i think was a bit stupid though..but anyways...he reckons they will just cost me points on my licence.

does anyone knows the real deal about this saga ?

GT wings are illegal, thats it, they r simply illegal.

however they look great so who cares.

on syndicate motorsports website there is a genuine c-west wing for sale.
