Pics of Dodgy Speed Shop Day 5/Sep/2004

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the invite, I have Gordo's coil pack which I wanted to test, plus I basically did nothing today so couldve come down, looks like it was krazy.

don't be stupid cyrus. They didn't want you there. That was an l337 squad get together. I guess someone forgot to tell Will.

I'm not trying to start a shit fight. But as what I said in my post in another thread, if a group of friends or "mates" want to hang out and do what ever they so wish, do said "group" really need to invite every one they have in there saved numbers on their phone's?.

This is correct and the answer is...

No.

Don't really think this warrants closure, this was a non SAU day, get over it people. Simple. Thanks for the pics Will, my car is now at the exhaust place getting the Mack Truck/Boeing 747 noise taken care of...

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
