WA rises slightly to 1/2 track then falls to the end but stuff all in it.

The monster cars have a bit of trouble at the end of the concrete but for the streeters the tracks mint and id say the tracks as good as any in the country and holds its own world wided.Bring some good tyres tho Ash or we can arrange something for you.

if you're driving from east only plan to get 98 octane at port augusta... no other towns have it on the way... although most places have premium... also when i did it 3 months ago nullabor was $1.43 per litre so take cash... u shouldnt need geri cans aslong as u dont use the "ive got a quarter tank... ill make it to the next town" as it may be 3 hrs away...

yer, i was thinking of just using ULP,. but i know what im like. I'll want to give a squirt every so often.

So im gonna buy some jerry cans this week or the next.

I've got some ok tyres, i'll be using them as i dont have a 25 gearbox yet, last thing i wanna do it blow my rb20 one and then be in a amd rush to get another box while im over there.

So only average times, low 12's with some luck :D

  • 2 weeks later...

God-damnit.

my 3000km old GT30 has spat a bearing or two... maybe even a few more (depending how many they have in em)

Gotta get it out and see wtf has happened to it, more importantly why.

So the trip is on hold till its running again, then... im coming. Over ;) No GT30 is going to stop me.

god-damn turbo's. hopefully its a manufacturing fault and not something from my end otherwise its another cartridge i cant afford to be buying :P

mmm, could be heaps of things. Doubt its sealer though. :) My motor man is very much keyed on indeed

maybe a bit of metal from when i blew my cylinders a while back or something, down to a hundred other things. ARGH!

;) but its getting pulled apart as soon as i have it out.

And we see what story it tells... hopefully a warranty one :P

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
