Whats the stickyest tyre around. I need something which will give me more traction @ rear for the drags. I dont want a slick, or semi slick either has to be street legal. Any ideas?

They can supply tyres just this side of race rubber if you want to go down that path

my mate has them in his 300zx, after 12,000ks of not very syko driving theyre incredibly bald, offer no grip and are weapons in the wet

bloody pathetic!

as an all round tyre the dunlop fm901s are very good, thats what im using at the moment. the sticker the tyre the quiker it will wear, like the SO3s... depends what youre after. an allround tyre or just one which will get you off the line. pirellis range are also good, but expensive. p-zeros have excellent grip!

Spoke to Ray @ Kostera's and will probably settle on a set of Dunlop SP9000's @ 225/55 on the rear. Only because I've got stock rims and havent got the dough to get a set of 18x9's yet and fit some nice 255/45 tyres Cluth and tyres should be done in time for drags on wednesday 13th of november. Whose coming along?

No Skyzerr dont get em they are crap i was lucky enough to getwork to pay for a set of bridgestone so3 potenza's and they are the best grip i have ever had i dont know how long they will last because thay are real soft but they stick like glue

When I spoke to ray @ kostera's he reckons the SP9000 are the best. Depends on how much you wanna spend though. Well the D01 dunlops are anyway, but hella exxy.

I've done the deal on a set of SP9000's in 225/55 profile for the rear's. Help give the car that bit more traction when it squats, it throws the speedo out a bit though. Takes 10 days for them to come in from Kostera's in kalamunda.

Guys, going to have to do a shameless plug for the boys at beaurepairs in Rocky - they gave me a great deal on the REVSPECs: 2 x 234/45/17 and 2x 255/40/17 fitted for 1k. Saved several hundred on the list price.

BFG Drag radial TA's are a little stickier than nittos 555.

Best price I could get was $1320 from Beaurepaires in Perth area.
