That leaking problem really doesn't sound too good at all. It was definitely a good idea to get rid of that SSV. I think I'll go with the Type 3 or the Hybrid now. That said, after watching the news last night, I'm a little worried about getting an atmo bov since all car enthusiasts are now being targeted for noise. I'm going to think about this one for a bit.

I am planning on moving my bov from the factory location to a hidden spot within the gaurd. Cant be seen if the constabulary looks in your engine bay - Just dont start blowing off next to a cop car!

Funnily enough - if you open an engine bay and work the throttle, more noise comes from a pod filter than the bov itself! :lol:

When i get my new intercooler piping i am gonna get the BOV mounted on the passenger side innerguard so if a cop looks under the bonnet he wont b able to spot a ATMO BOV. :lol: They r 2 stupid to find it under the innerguard.

Does it matter where the placement is for the BOV?

Ie. before the cooler compared to after (such as in the inner guard)

Hmm, maybe I can move it somewhere more hidden and still get the sound.

PJKJ - I've got no idea what model BOV it is. It came on the car. My car is a 93 model though, and all the equipment installed on the car (gauges etc) look really old, so I would say it is a discontinued model of BOV.
