Well I have had my r32 4 about ,2 1/2 months now(stoked). My mate's didn't like it at first (haha). They came out the front and said what's that,, that's not a (GRUNTN). So I took them on 2 the freeway, well getting from 0-115 was enough 4 them to go what the f*** !Again 2day i caught up with a few hard holden mate's that had never seen it before, but knew the plates,, most of them have modded gen 111's and a vy ss stocker vt, vl,vp,vk, rah rah rah.... Don,t get me wrong I was the biggest holden nut from day 1. That's how I got my plates, driven a 50.l vt 38k latter, made me think there fat and heavy with grunt , but I lacked the grunt I used to own. A vk calais 355, plate at time vkk.308. She was a power house, 203rwkw ,9inch rah rah rah, 32k latter .Any way they were to pissed to open there eyes to the new girl, 2day. They may have opened but 4 a spew when I hit drift mode, they will see. I have had alot of my hard holden fans (if u call them that) disappointed. I have brought my second house and my new skyer which I,m getting morepower out of already just with maintainence.and my son calls it the movie car -fast and the furious - turbo sound :D

im not saying hello ,all im saying is that ive opened my eyes , they dont like it ,but they have not been in it ---Im also trying to say as far as im concerned ive been there spent that on holdens and my mates have watched me do it, now there doing it ---I do but dont know why people do it. I mean to get a gen 111 to do 12's or better 1/4 mile after purchase price you will end up in sum big dollars and to keep an old holden running those times your gunna open your eyes

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
