BoyWhoCriedWolf
Stahgeeahh, that is how the Hokkaido people say it - well as close as i can get it phonetically. Sort of like tahhrbo means turbo. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55590-pronounciation/#findComment-1083222 Share on other sites

SKY031
Speed magazine said it's pronounced Stayjah. We all know how reliable the info in magazines is I've always pronounced it Stay-jee-ahh. As long as people know what you're talking about, then I don't think it matters all that much. Red Sky II
I thought it was Stay-jee-ah as well (that's what it looks like) but HPI also pronounced it Stay-jah as well (possibly a bit more reliable than Speed ?) Guest
"STAY..........GEEE.............AHHHH"! is how my parts guy in Japan calls it dont start me on Subaru. I had to laugh, but HPI also pronounced it Stay-jah as well (possibly a bit more reliable than Speed ?) We know what HPI is like and half the writers for SPEED write for HPI so no need to coment either way.
