my car landed yesterday and i havent booked for complience yet..

where should i go in brisbane? is there a list of companies in brisbane anywhere?

obviously i want my car complied asap..

its a 1989 r32 gtr.

(im sure there is a thread on this somewhere, but had a llook in qld section and couldnt see anything)

Also im doing the compliance work myself and a friend is welding in the side intrusion bars for me. Fairly simple stuff, just check with your engineer first as some don't like signing off 'home jobs' so to speak.

i have no idea when the car will be out.. how do they notify us that its ready to pick up?

yeah i wouldnt do the work by myself.

Apparently they'll call you though I'll be ringing up my agent on Monday to see how the progress is going

well i havent even sent my agent a copy of my VIA form yet!

i had to get one resent out cuz they had the wrong VIN number on it.. i will be faxing it away on monday..

yeah anyway, any northside complience places around that anybody knows of?

I would think if you have not yet booked your car in for compliance the chances of getting it done this year would be slim to none.

Hope you are happy with your car.....i would think it should be released by the end of next week. They have been pretty good lately.

It's not really 'compliance' as such - just making the engineering changes as required for your state, and getting an engineer to sign off that it's road legal. As long as you find someone who's aware of the changes and an engineer is should be ok.

(but no, I don't know any in QLD - sorry!)

if the plates you put on it are registered under a skyline coupe of a similar colour how would you get caught?

well i dont own that skyline anymore, so the plates arnt registered to anything
