I can see where the cops and the goverment are trying to do , but there are far worse offences they need to try and clamp down on... The other day i saw a TV program were a murderer got off cause the cops got a confession by lying or pretending there were crims, I mean the government and cops should try and clamp down on other offences as well which are far more dangerous

Cheers

EnricoPalazzo...R-E-L-A-X...he was just saying that ppl get a little fired up after watching a movie like that and maybe try to have a bit of a go against cars that are a bit out of their league....I really don't think u should take it so personally :)

No offence shell, but in the whole year that ive owned that car, I have has soo much bs said to me about it that is pisses me off so much. Sorry.

But i cant wait to get rid of my korean POS. Im saving for an R32 GTR. and ill be paintin it blue. Exactly like this one, no rear wing, minus the airbrush/stickers.

Wats that meant to mean??? I have an excel, so I go draggin skylines??? Well no. But i would drag u cos u seem very ****y, and as iv beaten almost every Q ive dragged, im sure i'd have no problem with u.

In other words, dont go sayin shit that's BS. U could say some idiots wer tryin to drag skylines, one was in an excel.

:) :)

i wasnt dissing you at all, i have no problems with excels, i said, you could see how the movie had boiled up peoples blood, as i witnessed someone in an excel try to drag a skyline.

and mate, u must have one very fast excel, cause one of my friends owns one, and hes never come close to beating my silvia, not that i care, i drive a silvia, and im the scum of the earth because of it arnt i? yep i know, i get told by just about every other person that im a d*ckhead and a moron for buying something that i liked.

EnricoPalazzo whilst i wasnt personally attacking you before, you still went ahead and attacked me not only in this thread but another one as well, not only you but other members of this forum. to put a "Ks" badge on my silvia that would mean im a ricer wouldnt it, hate to tell you numb nuts but that silvia has no mods on it at all, right down to the exhaust, so perhaps your the one who should think about things before opening you mouth, and no i never intended to mod my silvia, i forked over the money for a skyline, but now i doubt ill be able to enjoy driving with other skyline drivers as i once drove a silvia, it seems the skyline comunity doesnt welcome new comers to easily and seing as im having to defend myself in just about every thread i post into, i think i can get the message.

BelGarion,

Mate we all love Nissan's and that's what counts. I mean without silvia's and 180's where would all that mad cheap drift action be?

Don't be put off by what some people say, there's always going to be someone who gives you sh*t. Just tell 'em to f*ck off. Personally, I congratulate you for getting a car and not doing any crap mods to it. Now you have a Skyline enjoy that as well. You obviously bought the silvia for a reason (maybe cheap to run etc.) and if so, it has done it's job.

I guess to recap - you are most welcome into the skyline community, unless you are a bogan, in which case you are even more welcome for converting from the dark side :)

Cheers,

Tim

Belgarion: Sorry to dis u. At least i know that im not the only one that cops heaps of shit cos of the car i happen to drive. I hate it drving in town and people in other cars are literally laughin at me even thou my car would be far superior in every way to theirs.

FYI I have a few mods on my car, cos i couldnt stand driving around an excel so i had to help it out and got some mods, but still the car is slow, but fast enuff for me until i get my Line.

Once again sorry. I hope u can understand that i thought u wer havin a go at me. Oh and i think silvias rock, with the rite mods that is. Did anyone see the SSS (Seroius Silvia Special) that Geoff from prestige sent? Some sexy cars.

Belgarion, are u from Adelaide by any chance? Be nice to give ur silvia a run.

BelGarion, don't ever think ur not welcome here! :(

Silvias, 180's, supras, gtirs, Zeds etc...we all share a common interest - IMPORTS!! And even if you don't own an import, everyone is welcome here, even Torana drivers!! (hi Ash!! :D )

    • The sodium acetate, mixed with citric acid, doesn't actually buffer each other. Interestingly though, if you used Sodium Acetate, and acetic acid, THAT becomes a buffer solution. Additionally, a weak acid that can attack a metal, is still a weak acid that can attack a metal. If you don't neutralise it, and wash it off, it's going to be able to keep attacking. It works the same way when battery acid dries, get that stuff somewhere, and then it gets wet, and off it goes again breaking things down. There's a reason why people prefer a weak acid, and it's because they want TIME to be able to be on their side. IE, DIY guys are happy to leave some mild steel in vinegar for 24 hours to get mill scale off. However, if you want to do it chemically in industry, you grab the muriatic acid. If you want to do it quicker at home, go for the acetic acid if you don't want muriatic around. At the end of the day, look at the above thumbnail, as it proves what I said in the earlier post, you can clean that fuel tank up all you want with the solution, but the rust that has now been removed was once the metal of the fuel tank. So how thin in spots is your fuel tank getting? If the magazine on the left, is the actual same magazine as on the right, you'll notice it even introduces more holes... Well, rust removal in general actually does that. The fuel tank isn't very thick. So, I'll state again, look to replace the tank, replace the fuel hanger, and pump, work out how the rust and shit is making it past the fuel filter, and getting into the injectors. That is the real problem. If the fuel filter were doing its job, the injectors wouldn't be blocked.
    • Despite having minimal clothing because of the hot weather right now, I did have rubber gloves and safety glasses on just in-case for most of the time. Yes, I was scrubbing with my gloves on before, but brushing with a brush removes the remaining rust. To neutralize, I was thinking distilled water and baking soda, or do you think that would be overkill?
    • You can probably scrub the rust with a toothbrush or something. After you get the rust off flush well with water to neutralize and you will probably want to also use a fuel tank sealer to keep it from rusting again.
    • The sodium citrate solution is designed to buffer the citric acid to keep it from attacking metal quite so much, the guy that came up with that recipe did a ton of testing on how much metal loss occurs over time and it's nothing crazy unless you forget about it for months:
    • Ohhh I see lol To be honest the main reason why I wanted to start modding is because of a business trip to Japan and Indonesia. I saw many cool and modded cars all throughout in these countries, especially Japan. I myself am of Chinese+Japanese nationality and when living in china (never lived in Japan js my dad side lol) I remember staring at these cars pass by with their loud tacky exhausts and insane wide body kits. And when I went back to Japan, I got even more invested even asking people about their cars and why they modded. Most gave similar answers to what you said but funny enough one guy just said that he saw the need for speed movie being filmed once in Tokyo I think near Shibuya Crossing and got inspired to tune and mod. After that I just started to fantasize on owning a car like that. Also tbh I prefer the R32 over the R34 it's just the R34 is more iconic lol (also apparently better aftermarket support than the R32) and my only goal really is just to make the car mine and make it fun to drive. As much as I love my Cayenne it's pretty bland to drive. Sure the interior is nice and pretty, gives you attention yada yada but I've wanted to experience what it is like to have a car that is truly yours. I suppose thats the goal so far. Haha if you find where I'm from, then sure. Ill help you out on your next "financial decision"
