114:1 afr's....damn smooth your runnin rich :(....man that sucks, your a little over the limit. Are you going to contest it...i know its pretty hard to get done for that due to the precise instructions on how theyre supposed to test. Such as the open area rule etc....hope it all works out, if not do a josh and change the rego to a different name lmao :D

If it pulled 114db ..

a) there is something funny going on.. and they ****ed up the test procedure..

B) you installed a straight pipe recently and/or jet engine.

Mine old R33 pulled 90db.. and my car wasn't loud, but you could hear it. Every 3db is double the loudness.

nah thats not all that unusual. I remeber when josh had the porsche tested it was up around that and i mean it was loud but not rediculous.

a) I said to the cop that the hand held tests werent accurate and he admitted that. So I take the result with a grain of salt. :D

B) correct, has been for awhile now.

If tested properly under normal conditions I would say it would be less... give or take?

Also, he asked why my rear bar was badly burnt... I had no idea why... exhausts are hot I guess :(

I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
