xenon headlight, bonnet lip, more aggresive front bar (or is it just the lip?), red stiched steering wheel + seats, passenger air bag, NEWER...

35-40k for non vspec 1995 r33 is about the right price if u were talking about 33s in general...

For that you would be looking anything between 40,000 (if your very lucky) to about 50,000. they usually go for about 45-50,000.

;) I'd like to see someone show me this. I know this cos I went through the process of looking for one. Fair enuf I bought mine almost a year and a half ago but since then I've tried to find some for friends.... we've looked at both local and importers...

If you could go to any importer and say to them I want a GOOD, GENUINE KM, not thrashed R33 GTR Series 3 for $45K you've got a good deal..... fair enuf they may find you one CLOSE to this price but you've never seen the car, dunno what its been though, have no warranty etc etc.... Locally it would be evn harder..

Another problem is this.... there is a "Series 3 R33 GTR" at a reknown classic car yard on City Road ..not mentioning names.. with a series 3 GTR about a month or two ago... they had xenons, but no red stiching and missing one airbag.... hmm. Another wholesaler out in the Zetland area had an R33 GTR Series 3 but it had a series 1 front bar, Xenons, again missing red stitching etc etc.... Anyway sometimes just gotta be careful whether you actually are buying a series 3...

no problem whatsoever...~!!!!!

except ppl keep keying my car... latest was done around a week ago... 2 sharp deep cut in bonnet, both about 4cm long each... :(

just bought hks dumps and hks boost actuator... will buy front too soon... ;)

how is urs? :)

My one is doing great thanks champ.

Where do you get your car keyed at?

I am so paranoid about the car but I guess it just comes down to common sense.

I have pics of my car under NSW (cabramata guys/girls show me your car pics)

so the gTr is reliable hey? Thats good news! phew.

OMFG!!!! ur car looks sexy .......................... i've seen some dodgy aftermarket paint jobs lately and was repelling to the idea of respray.. BUT after i saw ur beast... i might consider it too... a word of warning... be extra * 10 zillion times when u park ur car... hey got ur mob number there? pm me... i will call ya when i goto cruise with my habibs... would lurrrrve to c ur car in the flesh... :(

Paint job done by the best in the south west.

    • Thanks for the info. The only "Issue" I've had with the shifter is I always found the throw between 4th and 6th gear too close. I'm always worried to shift into 4th accidently and sending my motor to the moon. Adam LZ recently came out with a video and stated Serialnine revised their shifters to correct this and will change all the revised parts for 150$. Strangely enough, I contacted Serialnine right after and they denied it and said it's bullshit. I found that strange as he's a distributer. I'll keep this forum post updated on that saga.
    • Yep that is correct. It allows you to adjust the short throw range from what I can tell
    • Car has been running great, I've put about 300km's of break in time on it. First thing that stands out with properly sealing rings is no more noticeable crankcase smell coming out of my catch can. This may seem insignificant, but the constant smell while driving around was infuriating. It's also nice to see my oil level remain stable. Two new issues have developed that I only noticed this weekend though. There's a very noticeable driveline vibration past 100kmh. I only noticed it now as I've been babying it under 100kmh in the backroads. This comes as no surprise as I'm running a one-piece shaft, and I paid zero attention to my driveshaft angle when I put everything back in. I also have a fair bit of voltage drop on hot starts. The starter audibly is forcing. No issues on cold start though. I must not have removed all the paint under my main block ground during assembly. I'll try and take care of both those issues this week once the kids are asleep.  I also received all the parts I was missing for my direct port setup. I will hopefully have pictures of that up soon. I'm hoping to get back on the dyno the week of June 30th as I'll be on vacation. I'm confident I should be able to make north of 500rwkw on pump gas and WMI. I'll go back again later this summer with E98, but I want to confirm my ethanol content sensor is working properly first. I've never seen it read anything but 11%. This makes sense for our 10% ethanol content pump gas here, but I would expect the occasional movement between fill ups.
    • 75% complete. Will now need to get a new axle with 5x114.3 hubs and then figure out how to customize some mudguards for it once the wheels are on.
    • Trailer prep is underway... Lined up the wheel to get a rough indication of how it would sit Then removed all the bits (as far as possible) and gave the frame a light sand and quick lick of paint   Then added some carpet
