ive heard that u can get defect fines for just saying that u have stuff done to ur car, in ur profile, if u say u have a pod, u can just get a fine saying that you have a pod. and the cops dont even have to see it.

Thats why heaps of forums wont let u look at them unless ur regestered.

Yeah, but in all fairness Moanie, people where speeding and carrying on as well so they kinda got what was coming to them...

I got away defect free ;) But then again, I've got nothing to defect :D Saw heaps of lines but didn't have a chance to meet any of yaz :(

Good day though :(

Lol that sounds like some good BS right there.... You find somebody who's been defected by their signature & I'll smash a policeman tail light & defect him for it under citizens arrest. :(

hehehe... i'm not arguing with that!!  if the were acting like hoons, then they deserved it!  its just a scarey thought to have police come along on cruises to defect people!! :(

Yeah, I know what you mean...

But even with that homebush cruise i organised, i notified all the police and we had a cop free day... maybe it's just the particular crowds etc etc...? i dunno.

hey any one spot me? white r33 wit carbon bonnet..

i spotted a black r33 wif autostyle sticker on the side

also a black r32, another white r33

I was in a white 33..could have been me

but didn't see you ;)

Not too bad of cruise a few wanker's though . Going down the F3 there was heaps of speed traps ready to catch anyone out . Saw a few car's get defected/pulled over but half of them I suspect would have been doing something wrong in the first place. Didn't have the chance to go around and try and meet some other skyline owner's. though which was a shame .

I was there, was an alright cruise, a few wankers tho.

7heavn is your GTR white with bronze rims? If so i passed you on the way up just before the mooney bridge. I went 110km the whole way coz i knew there would be cops. I couldn't beleive the number of R32's it was great!!

I was talking with a friend today and she knows personally of 3-4 people that lost their license, around 20 defected and heaps more pulled over for inspections.

Lucky I had a big sat nite and slept it missing this cruise :)

Yeah i thought you were waiting for someone as you were doing about 95-100. I have a pic of your GTR on my phone from WSID in the pits. I love it, looks awsome!!

Thanks mate , I must get it out and get some good snaps for myself got a bad habit of not taking photo's . Hopefully be back down at WSID soon chasing faster times. I think the people that got defected you will find did something wrong and deserved to pulled over but I might be wrong.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
