Also the Tenagah Motorsport Drift day in Collie has been pushed back to the 17th due to trackwork going on - in case anyone hear was interested in attending.

In keeping with our commitment in promoting and encouraging all levels of motorsport, I have an invitation to anyone interested in joining us in a Drift Training day at Collie on Sunday the 3rd of April. Tenagah Motorsports is holding the training day in association with AFARCC.

At this stage there will be 4 instructors available on the day and I have 40 spots available for people who are wanting to learn. The schedule for the day will be along these lines;

0800 Scrutineering Opens

0930 Compulsory Driver Briefing

0950 Instructors Lesson

1000 Track Opens

1230 Lunch (Entertainment by Instructors)

1300 Track Reopens

1700 Track Closes

Cost is $50 for AFARCC members and $70 for non members.

To confirm your spot, payment is to be made directly to Tenagah Motorsports. If you do have any questions please contact myself at the shop or Jimmah via email at [email protected].

Cheers, Abdus.

However!

We were informed yesterday that MSW are having a track maintenance weekend

on the 2/3 of April.

The AFARCC driver training day is now on the 16th April and the Tenagah Drift day on the 17th.

Hope this doesnt inconvenience anybody, but this one was totally out of our

hands.

BB: PM 'Tenagah Motorsport' on the Silviawa forums or email jimmah (email above). There's a few spots left so snap one up.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
