dekimasu
Heya Fellas. Ok there are alot of people with R32 GTRs on the forum and I wanted to know your thoughts on the factory R32 GTR rear wing ... on or off ? Also I have been asking alot of people about BOVs for the RB26 and I keep getting mixed answers. Do really I need to buy 2 Bovs or can I just fit 1. Thanks guys, D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/ Share on other sites

Dahtone Racing
leave the wing on (so less cars are wingless like mine lol) leave the standard BOVs Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/#findComment-1245063 Share on other sites
gtr fan
I love the factory 32 gtr wing, leave it on I did, and I also retained the factory BOV's. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/#findComment-1245068 Share on other sites
Yorik
Love the factory wing, I am definitely keeping mine, it is like the 180SX Type X wing, pure sex.. The Factory BOV's are supposed to be good to hold 600hp, so should be fine for a whiel I would say.. dekimasu
Daaaamn! Thanks guys, I will leave it on yeah I guess thats what really makes the Gtr look. and about the Bovs well I can leave the stocks on I guess but a friend is getting rid of his HKS Sequential Bov and wants like $150 its in good nick.. just wondering if I can use just one or not. Also does anyone know of any nice skirts and rear pods to fit the R32 GTR. oh and not too hard to find in Oz.?? I'm thinking of getting some from "carmate" for $550 I thought that was cheap is it? I wouldn't replace the twin factory BOVs with one HKS one. The GTR HKS kit has two BOVs. if you want them just get that. The only GTR kit i've seen with just one is the trust Type R kit and that is one BIG BOV. BigBlueR32
GTR's just don't look right wingless.. I prefer GT Wings over the stock GTR wing .. but it does look nice stock.. It all dpends if the car is going to be kept near stock, i have seen a couple o "autostyle" cars with the wing removed and just the nismo lip thats looks nuts but i reckon then you need to have buig dished wheels and the car pretty low my 2 cents Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/#findComment-1251709 Share on other sites

NXTIME
I am having the boot holes deleted and fitting a new nismo-tyle lip spoiler. This is my car before it was shipped to Aus and before the damage to it: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/#findComment-1251950 Share on other sites
PurpleR32
there is no doubt that the rear wing needs to be removed and a nismo lip fitted. Definetly larger aftermarket wheels, (18inch BBS LM wheels look AWSOME!!) There are a few 450+ rwkw GTR's going around melb with standard 33 GTR BOV's. They work fine, no leakage (and they are STANDARD EQUIPMENT which helps get around defect issues) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/#findComment-1251985 Share on other sites
DJ984
They work fine, no leakage (and they are STANDARD EQUIPMENT which helps get around defect issues) Keep it hidden in the corner down there and no-one will ever see it to defect ya Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/66976-r32-gtr-best-look/#findComment-1252015 Share on other sites

NXTIME
No, its a fibreglass copy. I am replacing it with another one. It doesn't have the slots in it for the factory GTR wing.
