jezuz f*king christ......dude, ur car is waaaaaay too cheap....damn if i had that money i woulda snatched ur car straight up at 18k!!!!

pity im still goddamn waiting to get A car....any damn fricken car!!! and short on money too

i am just as surprised as u are in not seeing ur car going for sale in a flash...17k for an r33 gtst, in THAT condition is goddamn RARE!!!!!

i picked up my brothers stock 93 r33 gts-t for 11,500 (pics in my gallery) with 90, 000k's on it with last march. if you want to actually sell it and not lose anymore cash on depreciation and advertising costs i'd accept 15k.

just some friendly advice as im buying and selling cars all the time.

well congrats, you got it daaaaaamn cheap, and theres no way in hell i'll accpet 15k for my R33 its worth way over 17k as it is. and there are VERY few people that would disagree.

um sorry but i disasgree on that i just picked up mines not long ago for 18000 with many more mods than your has got and way lower km's

i got a fm intercooler and aftermarket turbo and everything(injectors fuel pump e boost the list goes on and on blinstein suspension ill stop there lol)

no offece but like was said b4 15 or 16 is a good price for one of those ive looked at dozens of them. your car just has 2 higher kms and not enough quality mods on it for the price you are asking

once again accept 15-16k for it u will sell it quick as

and 21500starting price???lol

Hey Veilside,

Sorry cant afford ur car man but i thought i might be able to make a suggestion to help you sell it? try www.carsales.com.au and buy a premium ad. At $18000 it should go fast, and yes, i do think it is a cheap price. i wouldnt believe that gentleman who said he got a $40000 r33 for $18000. he *may* be right but i doubt it. ask him for full details of the car with pics and a receipt... if u could be bothered. hehe u hear so many stories in this industry. its very possible his car was flogged to death.

* and if u read this, culodofsomke give me a post and an email address because i will buy cars off you all day long and make a shitload re-selling them for a higher price *

anyway try carsales i think thats the highest traffic website you will find.

cheers!

steve

PS i dont work for carsales! just had good experience with them

yeah i think i'll put a photo add up on carsales and allclassifieds, i definately agree that its a good way to move it.

i've pm'ed blitz and asked him to clear some of the clutter from the thread (negative posts etc too) im happy for people to give ideas etc, but anything that could detract from the sale is'nt welcome here) culudofsmoke's comments althoug i know you meant them in a constructive way are only hurting my chances of selling my car.

Toally agree with Veilside.. There will be people saying how ever cheap they get their car to spoil the market.. If they really get it so cheap then is either they are bloody lucky or something is seriously wrong with the car.... I sold my car a carsales.com too... Totally rock..

Your car is sweet Veilside, just a shame it hasn't sold yet.... as for a better car at lower price "I doubt it." those mods aren't as cheap as people think are they??

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
