I thought you were only allowed to go to places to get work done to the car, but you can bullshit can't you?

"Yes officer I'm on my way to get the car tuned, honest."

GR33DyMANGO caught doing 210km/hr in a 60 zone at midnight Saturday night.

When you ring up they ask you what movements you need to make, home - workshop - pits - home etc.

You cant drive at night, all road rules apply, only you can drive the car and a few other things they tell you when you phone transport.

I think I needed to get these bloody things 4 or 5 times when I bought my car in:

docks to home

home to pick up comp. plates then home again

home to get comp. work done

comp. workshop to pits then home

gr33dy, is yours the white R33 down at Global?

twas down there today getting my plate stamped on, your car looks nice n clean.

I then went to the pits and failed :) rear tint is too dark and the radius rod bush is leaking oil.. which is what a replaced when i busted up the front from an incident a while back but the piece is obviously faulty, it was second hand so i cant complain.

a new one goes on tonight, aswell as the tint off tomorrow and all should be cool.. *gulp*

Hi Radium,

Nope, the white one with the GTR body kit is mine.. Got it detailed for $100, if anyone is interested. It was so filthy when it got off the boat .. I think it would have been better had I clean it after I got the car over the pit, but I just couldn't look at a dirty white car. :)

Bye

Richard.

Hey Justin,

I got the temp 48 hr permit last weekend and drove it around ... Went passed two or three police cars in town but no one pulled me over. Probably because I was moving like a snail :) ..

Bye

Richard.

I got pulled over on the way from picking the car up from the trucking yard to home. The guy wasn't worried about the permit ... he didn't like how the front bar was sitting inside the car!

I also drove around the city without plates before I had rego. Cops drove past and didn't care :)

Maybe they see it all the time round the licensing centre.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
